Nusantara Beat is a six-member band from Amsterdam, formed in 2021. The band members have Indonesian roots and draw inspiration from musical styles such as Pop Sunda and Dangdut from the 1970s. Their music combines hypnotic melodies and captivating harmonies, reflecting the traditions of gamelan and krontjong, with elements of Indonesian psychedelic rock and Indian Bollywood. In November 2025, they released their debut album "Nusantara Beat" featuring 11 original tracks that blend traditional Indonesian sounds with modern elements. The band is known for their energetic live performances and is part of Amsterdam's music scene.
