O'Higgins & Luft is a British jazz duo comprising saxophonist Dave O'Higgins and guitarist Rob Luft. They have released two collaborative albums: "O'Higgins & Luft Play Monk & Trane" in 2019 and "Pluto" in 2022. Their music is influenced by hard bop and contemporary jazz, drawing from the traditions of Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane. The "Pluto" album features seven original compositions and two interpretations of Monk and Coltrane pieces. The recording was made during a 50-date European tour in 2019 and was captured live in a London studio.
