Oblivians is an American garage punk trio formed in 1993 in Memphis, Tennessee. Members Greg Cartwright, Jack Yarber, and Eric Friedl alternated roles as vocalist, guitarist, and drummer. The band released four studio albums, including "Soul Food" (1995) and "Popular Favorites" (1996). Their music blends elements of garage rock and punk blues. Oblivians are known for their raw and energetic performances, influencing many bands in the underground rock scene. After disbanding in 1998, the members pursued other projects but reunited in 2012, continuing to tour and record.
