Odhecaton is an Italian vocal ensemble specializing in Renaissance music, founded in 1998 by Paolo Da Col. The group consists of male voices focusing on 16th-century polyphony and collaborates with instrumentalists specializing in the same repertoire. Their discography includes recordings of works by composers such as Nicolas Gombert, Heinrich Isaac, and Josquin des Prés. Odhecaton has received international recognition and awards, including the Diapason d'Or de l'année in 2003. The ensemble's name is derived from "Harmonice Musices Odhecaton," the first printed collection of polyphonic music from 1501.
