Of Monsters and Men is an Icelandic indie folk/rock band formed in Garðabær in 2010. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, vocalist and guitarist Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson, lead guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson, and bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson. Their 2011 debut album, "My Head Is an Animal," reached number one in Australia, Iceland, and Ireland. The single "Little Talks" became an international hit, reaching number one in Ireland and Iceland, and topping the US Alternative Songs chart. The band won the European Border Breakers Award in 2013.
