Offshore is a quintet from Cologne, Germany, formed in 2009. The group consists of five students and graduates from the Cologne University of Music. Their debut album, "Côte de Cologne," was released in 2013 under Double Moon Records. Offshore has received awards such as "Startbahn Jazz 2010" and "Convento," and were finalists in the "European Jazz Prize 2011." Their music blends modern jazz with influences from classical music and pop, utilizing unconventional instruments like the vibraphone and saxophone.
