"The Chopin Project" is a collaboration between Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Ólafur Arnalds and German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott. Originally released in 2015, the album offers a unique take on Frédéric Chopin's works, with Arnalds selecting a program of pieces to create an emotional arc and composing linking sections for string quintet, piano, and synthesizer.
