Olivier Latry is a French organist, improviser, and composer who has served as one of the four titular organists at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris since 1985. Born in 1962 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, he studied under Gaston Litaize. Latry is renowned for his interpretations of Olivier Messiaen's works, having recorded the complete organ works for Deutsche Grammophon. Additionally, he is a distinguished improviser in the French tradition. In 2000, he received the Cino and Simone Del Duca Foundation Prize, and in 2007, he became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
