Os Brazoes was a Brazilian music group formed in the late 1960s in Rio de Janeiro. In 1969, they released their only, self-titled album, considered a psychedelic masterpiece that blends samba, R&B, and rock 'n' roll using fuzz guitars, synthesizers, and percussion. The band backed Gal Costa during her Tropicalia period, although they did not record with her in the studio. Frontman Miguel de Deus later released the 'Black Soul Brothers' album in 1977, which became significant in the 'Black Rio' movement.
