P.O.D. is an American Christian metal band formed in 1992 in San Diego, California. The current lineup consists of vocalist Sonny Sandoval, guitarist Marcos Curiel, and bassist Traa Daniels. The band is known for blending styles such as nu metal, rap metal, and alternative metal. Their most successful albums include "The Fundamental Elements of Southtown" (1999) and "Satellite" (2001), the latter featuring hits like "Alive" and "Youth of the Nation". P.O.D. has received three Grammy nominations and collaborated with artists like Carlos Santana and Katy Perry. In 2024, they released their eleventh studio album, "Veritas".
