Paintbox was a Japanese hardcore punk band formed in 1997. The band was known for its energetic style and gained respect in the international hardcore community. They released several albums, including "Singing Shouting Crying" (1999) and "Trip, Trance & Travelling" (2009). After the death of guitarist Chelsea in 2007, the band continued until disbanding in 2011.
