Palace Songs was one of several projects by American singer-songwriter Will Oldham during the 1990s. In 1994, they released an EP titled "Hope" under Drag City Records. This project was part of a series of Oldham's musical endeavors under various names such as Palace Brothers, Palace Music, and simply Palace. Later, he began performing under the name Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. Palace Songs' music is characterized by a folk rock sound with alternative country elements.
