Papercuts is an American indie pop project led by Jason Robert Quever from San Francisco. Their debut album, "Mockingbird," was released in 2004, followed by "Can't Go Back" (2007), "You Can Have What You Want" (2009), and "Fading Parade" (2011). Their music blends elements of indie pop, dream pop, and shoegaze. Quever has collaborated with artists such as Cass McCombs, Beach House, and Dean Wareham. The album "Parallel Universe Blues" was released in 2018 under Slumberland Records. Quever is also known as a producer and operates a recording studio in Los Angeles.
