Parliament was an American funk band formed in 1968 by George Clinton. Originating from the vocal group The Parliaments, it became part of the P-Funk collective. Members included George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, and Bernie Worrell. The band released notable albums such as "Mothership Connection" (1975) and "Funkentelechy vs. the Placebo Syndrome" (1977). Their music blended funk, R&B, and psychedelic soul. Parliament was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. The products available from the artist Parliament include CDs.
