Pastor Champion was an American gospel singer and preacher, born on November 23, 1946, in Louisiana. After moving to California, he became known for his performances with an electric guitar in various congregations. In 2018, he recorded his sole album, "I Just Want to Be a Good Man," at the 37th Street Baptist Church in Oakland. The album was posthumously released in 2022. Pastor Champion was the brother of soul singer Bettye Swann. He passed away on December 28, 2021. The products available from the artist Pastor Champion include CDs.
