Paul Giger is a Swiss violinist and composer known for his work in classical and contemporary music. His album "Ars Moriendi" combines works by Johann Sebastian Bach with his own compositions inspired by Swiss folk traditions and the paintings of Giovanni Segantini. The album was recorded at Chiesa Bianca in Maloja, where Segantini spent the last years of his life. Giger collaborated with artists such as Marie-Louise Dähler, Pudi Lehmann, Franz Vitzthum, and the Carmina Quartett.
