Paul Heaton is a British singer and songwriter known as the frontman of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South. With The Housemartins, he released albums "London 0 Hull 4" and "The People Who Grinned Themselves to Death". After the band's dissolution in 1988, he formed The Beautiful South, releasing ten successful albums including "Welcome to the Beautiful South" and "Blue Is the Colour". In 2001, he began a solo career with the album "Fat Chance" and later collaborated with Jacqui Abbott on five albums. In 2024, he released the solo album "The Mighty Several".
