McCartney II is Paul McCartney's second solo album, released in 1980. This album marks a departure from his previous work, focusing on experimental electronics and synthesizers, foreshadowing the sound of the 1980s. Recorded in the summer of 1979 at McCartney's farm in Scotland, during a period of uncertainty for Wings. This Japanese edition in SHM-CD format offers enhanced sound quality and includes a printed inner sleeve and booklet featuring Japanese translations of the lyrics. 2011 remastered version.
