Paul Peek was an early rockabilly pioneer, known as a member of Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps. Born in High Point, North Carolina, and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, he released the single "Sweet Skinny Jenny" in 1958, featuring Esquerita on piano. His recordings for National Recording Corporation included musicians like Joe South, Jerry Reed, and Ray Stevens. Peek appeared in the film "The Girl Can't Help It" (1956) and performed on television programs such as "The Big Beat" with Alan Freed. Although his solo career did not achieve significant commercial success, his contribution to rockabilly is recognized.
