Pavol Hammel is a Slovak musician, singer, and producer, known as the leader of the band Prúdy. His work includes albums such as "Zvoňte, zvonky" (1969) and "Šľahačková princezná" (1973). He collaborated with Marián Varga and Radim Hladík on albums "Zelená pošta" (1972) and "Na II. programe sna" (1976). In 1978, he received the Golden Bratislava Lyre for composing the song "Študentská láska". His musical style encompasses pop rock, psychedelic rock, and baroque pop.
