Pax Nicholas, born Nicholas Addo-Nettey, is a Ghanaian singer and percussionist best known as a member of Fela Kuti's legendary band, Africa 70. In 1973, he released the album "Na Teef Know De Road of Teef" with his group The Nettey Family, which was reissued in 2009 by Daptone Records. The album features a strong afrobeat sound infused with elements of funk and African traditions. After leaving Africa 70, Nicholas settled in Berlin, where he continues his musical career with his band Ridimtaksi, blending classic and modern afrobeat with American soul and Ghanaian highlife.
