Pell Mell was an instrumental rock band formed in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. The original lineup included Arni May (guitar), Jon-Lars Sorenson (bass), Bill Owen (guitar), and Bob Beerman (drums). The band released several albums, including "Rhyming Guitars" (1981), "The Bumper Crop" (1987), "Interstate" (1995), and "Star City" (1997). Their music blended elements of alternative and indie rock. Members like Steve Fisk and Greg Freeman were also known for their production work. The band disbanded in 1998.
