Penny Arcade is the solo project of British singer, songwriter, and guitarist James Hoare, known for his work with bands such as Veronica Falls, The Proper Ornaments, and Ultimate Painting. In 2024, he released his debut album under this moniker, titled "Backwater Collage." The album comprises eleven intimate indie rock tracks with psychedelic elements. Hoare collaborated with vocalist Nathalia Bruno and keyboardist Max Claps on this record. The release was issued by Tapete Records.
