Pentacle is a Dutch death metal band formed in 1989 by bassist and vocalist Wannes Gubbels, formerly of Asphyx and Soulburn. The band is known for its old-school death metal style with thrash metal influences. Notable albums include "...Rides the Moonstorm" (1998) and "Under the Black Cross" (2005). In 2004, they released the EP "Archaic Undead Fury," recorded at Harrow Productions in the Netherlands. The EP's cover art was created by Manuel Tinnemans, known for his work with bands like Varathron and Rotting Christ. The band remains active, continuing to perform and record.
