Pentagram is an American doom metal band from Alexandria, Virginia, considered a pioneer of the genre. Formed in 1971, the band released their first studio album, "Relentless," in 1985. Notable albums include "Day of Reckoning" (1987) and "Be Forewarned" (1994). Their music is often compared to Black Sabbath. Despite frequent lineup changes and personal issues of frontman Bobby Liebling, Pentagram continues to create and perform, releasing the album "Lightning in a Bottle" in 2025.
