Pentangle was a British folk-jazz band formed in 1967 in London. The original lineup consisted of Jacqui McShee (vocals), John Renbourn (guitar), Bert Jansch (guitar), Danny Thompson (double bass), and Terry Cox (drums). Their third album, "Basket of Light" released in 1969, featured the single "Light Flight," which entered the UK charts. The band blended traditional folk with jazz and blues elements. Throughout their career, they collaborated with various artists and influenced many musicians. The group disbanded in 1973 but reunited several times for different projects.
