Pete Brown was a British poet and lyricist known for his collaboration with the band Cream, writing lyrics for hits like "Sunshine of Your Love" and "White Room". After Cream disbanded, he continued working with Jack Bruce and formed his own bands, including Pete Brown & His Battered Ornaments and Pete Brown & Piblokto!. These projects blended rock, jazz, and blues, releasing albums such as "A Meal You Can Shake Hands With in the Dark" and "Thousands on a Raft". Brown's work influenced the British rock scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
