Peter Beets is a Dutch jazz pianist born in The Hague in 1971. He comes from a musical family; his mother is a music teacher, and his father is a gynecologist with a passion for jazz. Together with his brothers, Marius and Alexander, he formed the Beets Brothers. Beets studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and in 1998 won the Prix Martial Solal in Paris. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, and Dee Dee Bridgewater. His notable albums include "New York Trio" (2001), "Chopin Meets the Blues" (2010), and "Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and All That Jazz!" (2023).
