Peter Godwin is an English musician known for his work in the new wave genre. He was a member of the band Metro, which released the song "Criminal World" in 1977. This song was later covered by David Bowie in 1983 on his album "Let's Dance". As a solo artist, Godwin released the EP "Dance Emotions" in 1982 and the album "Correspondence" in 1983. His song "Images of Heaven" became a cult favorite on new wave radio stations. In 1998, a compilation titled "Images of Heaven: The Best of Peter Godwin" was released.
