Peter Lerner is an American jazz guitarist known for his collaboration with Chicago pianist Willie Pickens. Together with bassist Marlene Rosenberg and drummer Charles Heath, they formed a quartet that recorded the album "Continuation." This album features six original compositions by Lerner and interpretations of "Jean de Fleur" by Grant Green and "La Mesha" by Kenny Dorham. Lerner is recognized for his flawless guitar playing and compositional skills.
