Peter Pichler is a German musician and composer known for his work with the Mixturtrautonium, a predecessor of the synthesizer. Born in 1967, he studied classical guitar and Renaissance lute at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and other music institutions. Pichler is the only musician who has mastered and recorded classical works for the Mixturtrautonium, including compositions by Hindemith, Genzmer, and Dessau. In April 2025, he released the album "Ins Nichts mit ihm," featuring works for Mixturtrautonium and voice. Pichler also performs live and conducts workshops on this instrument.
