Peter Van de Velde is a Belgian organist who began his musical education as a self-taught musician at the age of nine. In 2002, he was appointed titular organist of the Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp, where he plays both the romantic Schyven organ from 1891 and the baroque Metzler organ from 1993. His repertoire encompasses a wide range of styles, with a particular focus on 19th and 20th-century Belgian music. Van de Velde regularly performs at international festivals and collaborates with various orchestras and choirs. His recordings have received positive reviews in international media.
