Petite Noir, born Yannick Ilunga, is a Congolese-South African musician known for his unique "noirwave" style, blending elements of post-punk, electronic music, and African rhythms. He was born on August 24, 1990, in Brussels to a Congolese father and an Angolan mother, and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2015, he released his debut album "La Vie Est Belle / Life Is Beautiful" under Domino Records. Other notable works include the 2015 EP "The King of Anxiety" and the 2018 mini-album "La Maison Noir / The Black House." He has collaborated with artists such as Baloji and Danny Brown.
