Piano Red, born Willie Lee Perryman, was an American blues musician known for his percussive piano style. Born in 1911 in Georgia, he was an albino, as was his older brother Rufus, known as Speckled Red. In the 1950s, he achieved success with hits like "Rockin' with Red" and "Right String but the Wrong Yo Yo". Later adopting the stage name Dr. Feelgood, he continued recording and performing into the 1980s. His music influenced many artists and contributed to the popularization of rhythm and blues.
