Places is a five-member band from Ostrava, Czech Republic, formed in 2010. Their music blends elements of indie rock, post-rock, and shoegaze. The band consists of Eva Konečná (vocals), Ondřej Dlouhý (guitar), Jakub Vašíček (guitar), Tomáš Zátek (bass guitar), and Marcyn Marcyn (drums). They have released albums "Distant Edges" (2016) and "I Can't Let My Hands Fight Against Your Waterfall" (2021), as well as singles "Goodbye to Me (Traveller)" (2017) and "Anxiety" (2018). Places have performed at festivals such as Colours of Ostrava, Metronome, and Rock for People, and supported the band Wolf Alice in Prague. The products available from the artist PLACES include CDs.
