Poison is an American hard rock band formed in 1983 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Bret Michaels, guitarist C.C. DeVille, bassist Bobby Dall, and drummer Rikki Rockett. The band achieved commercial success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Talk Dirty to Me," and "Nothin' But a Good Time."
