Popstrangers is a New Zealand indie rock band comprising Joel Flyger (guitar, vocals, saxophone, synthesizer), Adam Page (bass guitar), and David Larson (drums). The band formed after the members met through mutual friends, sharing an interest in 1980s New Zealand punk bands. After releasing several singles on the independent label Flying Nun, they released their debut album "Antipodes" in 2013. This was followed by "Fortuna" in 2014, and after a hiatus, they returned in June 2022 with the album "In Spirit".
