Post Animal is an American psychedelic rock band formed in 2014 in Chicago. The group consists of Dalton Allison (bass/vocals), Jake Hirshland (guitar/keyboards/vocals), Javi Reyes (guitar/vocals), Wesley Toledo (drums/vocals), Matt Williams (guitar/vocals), and Joe Keery. In 2017, Keery left the band to focus on his acting career but returned in 2025 to record the album "IRON." Their notable albums include "When I Think of You in a Castle" (2018), "Forward Motion Godyssey" (2020), and "Love Gibberish" (2022). The band is known for blending psychedelic rock, progressive pop, and indie rock. Throughout their career, they have collaborated with artists such as Twin Peaks, White Reaper, and Ron Gallo.
