Potatohead People is a Canadian hip-hop and electronic producer duo from Vancouver, consisting of Nick Wisdom and AstroLogical. The duo met in high school and began collaborating in 2008 within the hip-hop collective Elekwent Folk. They later focused on creating instrumental music, releasing several EPs, including 'Kosmichemusik' in 2012. Their debut album, 'Big Luxury,' was released in 2015 under the Bastard Jazz label. They have collaborated with artists such as Illa J, Kaytranada, and Moka Only. Their music draws from 90s boom-bap, future soul, jazz, and funk.
