Quando Quango was a British electronic music group formed in 1981 by Mike Pickering and Hillegonda Rietveld in Rotterdam. In 1983, they relocated to Manchester and signed with Factory Records. Their sole studio album, "Pigs + Battleships," was released in November 1985 and featured singles like "Love Tempo" and "Genius." The band was known for their unique sound, blending elements of new wave, alternative dance, and electronic music. After the group's dissolution, Mike Pickering became a founding member of M People.
