Quinie is a Scottish singer specializing in songs performed in the Scots language, one of Scotland's three official languages alongside Gaelic and English. Her third album, "Forefowk, Mind Me," was recorded in August 2024 at The Big Shed in Highland Perthshire with support from Creative Scotland. The album features collaborations with musicians such as Ailbhe Nic Oireachtaigh (viola), Oliver Pitt (duduk, bouzouki, percussion), Harry Górski-Brown (small pipes, violin), and Stevie Jones (double bass, recording, and mixing). Quinie draws inspiration from Scottish Traveller singers, and her music blends traditional and experimental elements.
