Rachael McShane is a singer, cellist, fiddle, and viola player from North East England. She is known as an original member of the folk band Bellowhead, with whom she recorded five studio albums and won eight BBC Folk Awards. In 2009, she released her debut solo album 'No Man's Fool' on Navigator Records. She later formed the band The Cartographers, releasing 'When All Is Still' in 2018 on Topic Records. McShane also participated in 'The Transports' project alongside The Young'uns, Faustus, Nancy Kerr, Greg Russell, and Matthew Crampton.
