Rage is a German heavy metal band formed in 1984 by Peter "Peavy" Wagner. They are considered pioneers of power metal and part of the "big four" of the German metal scene alongside Grave Digger, Helloween, and Running Wild. Throughout their career, they have released 27 albums and sold over five million records. Notable albums include "Black in Mind" (1995), "XIII" (1998), and "Soundchaser" (2003). In 1996, they collaborated with the Prague Symphony Orchestra on the album "Lingua Mortis," becoming one of the first metal bands to record an album with a full symphonic orchestra.
