Raymond van het Groenewoud is a Belgian singer and songwriter known for his Dutch-language songs. He began his career in 1972 with the band Louisette and later continued as a solo artist with his backing band, De Centimeters. In 1977, he achieved his first hit with the song "Meisjes" from the album "Nooit Meer Drinken." In 1980, he gained popularity in the Netherlands with the song "Je Veux de l'Amour." In 1990, he released a compilation of his songs with a new single, "Liefde voor Muziek," which reached number one in Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2023, he released the album "Egoïst."
