Recondite, born Lorenz Brunner, is a German electronic music artist and producer from Lower Bavaria. His work encompasses ambient, deep house, and techno, often blurring the lines between these genres. In 2011, he founded his own label, Plangent Records, and debuted with the album "On Acid" in 2012. Subsequent albums include "Hinterland" (2013), "Iffy" (2014), and "Dwell" (2020). Recondite is known for his live performances, which he adapts to the audience's mood and local conditions. His music features melancholic and somber tracks with low BPM, as well as danceable techno tracks designed for the dance floor.
