Renaud Capuçon is a French violinist born in Chambéry in 1976. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, earning first prizes in chamber music and violin. David Fray is a French pianist born in Tarbes in 1981. He won the second prize at the Montreal International Music Competition in 2004. Together, they recorded the album "Bach: Sonatas for Violin & Keyboard Nos. 3-6," released in 2019 under the Erato label. This album features four sonatas for violin and keyboard by Johann Sebastian Bach, recorded in December 2017 at Notre-Dame-du-Liban in Paris.
