Reverend is an American heavy metal band formed in 1989 in Seattle, Washington. The group was founded by former Metal Church vocalist David Wayne along with former members of Heretic. Their discography includes albums "World Won't Miss You" (1990) and "Play God" (1991). After Wayne's death in 2005, the band continued with various lineups and in 2019 announced a new lineup featuring guitarist Bill Rhynes and vocalist Bobby Lucas.
