Revocation is an American technical death metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2006 by guitarist and vocalist Dave Davidson, bassist Anthony Buda, and drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne. Originally known as Cryptic Warning, they changed their name to Revocation in 2006. Their debut album, "Empire of the Obscene," was released in 2008, followed by "Existence Is Futile" (2009), "Chaos of Forms" (2011), and "Revocation" (2013). The band is known for blending technical death metal and thrash metal, featuring complex guitar riffs and intense drumming.
