Richie Sambora is an American musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi from 1983 to 2013. During this period, he and Jon Bon Jovi formed the band's primary songwriting duo. In 1991, he released his first solo album, "Stranger in This Town," which reached No. 36 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured Eric Clapton on the track "Mr. Bluesman." Sambora was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 as a member of Bon Jovi.
