Rick Rock, born Ricardo Thomas, is an American hip-hop producer from Montgomery, Alabama, based in Fairfield, California. He was a member of the groups Cosmic Slop Shop and The Federation. His production work appeared on albums such as 2Pac's "All Eyez on Me" and E-40's "Tha Hall of Game." He collaborated with artists like Jay-Z, Fabolous, and Busta Rhymes. He is regarded as a pioneer of the hyphy subgenre in hip-hop.
